This box offers a wide selection of the very best in wild food. The seasonality of venison means that it is available from the start of August to the end of April. Venison offers excellent health benefits in that it is very low in cholesterol, high in protein and naturally rich in flavour. All venison is locally harvested and processed by Curtis Pitts, who prides himself on only selling the finest game meat, distributed on a national level. The advantage to buying venison from Curtis Pitts is that, rather than being a game dealer, he shoots all of the product himself from wild and parkland environments that he personally manages across the south west of the UK. All wild venison has been personally certified and meticulously inspected to utmost in quality standards and assurance by Curtis who is fully qualified and insured to do so.
