Curtis Pitts Deer Services has been announced as a finalist in the national 2022 Eat Game Awards taking place in London on the 24th March 2022.
Curtis Pitts has been put forward by his customers for the Best Small Retailer category.
Curtis explains: “We’re absolutely delighted to have been announced for this award. We are passionate about everything we do, from harvesting our venison in the field through to processing it in house & delivering direct to our customer’s doorsteps. It is incredibly rewarding that this has been recognised by our customers and we would be thrilled if you could vote for us once more to win Best Small Retailer on the Eat Game Awards website!”
“We’re a young business selling everything from wild and parkland venison through to a vast range of Devon sourced feathered game. All of our produce is available to buy in our online shop and we supply some of the top chefs in the catering industry, as well as a fantastic range of wholesale farm shops and butchers. We take great pride in the provenance and traceability of the products we harvest, personally selecting each and every venison carcass in the wild to ensure the highest possible quality venison reaches your plate.”
The Eat Game Awards are aimed at celebrating the best wild British produce. The initiative recognises great culinary achievements and other contributions to the cooking and eating of game.
The general public were invited to nominate the individuals or businesses they felt embodied the criteria in each category. The top 10 nominees from this process have now moved on to the voting stage to become a top finalist.
People can now vote once in all or some of the categories via the Eat Game Awards website: https://eatgame.co.uk/eat-game-awards/voting/
We’re thrilled to have been nominated for this award and are urging all our customers who enjoy our wonderful venison and game to vote for us to win the Best Small Retailer category.
Huge thanks for all of your help and support in getting us this far – Your loyalty and custom is very much appreciated.
